Samsung has released details about the February 2026 security patch for Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The update includes dozens of fixes for security vulnerabilities in the Android operating system and Samsung’s One UI software. It is expected to roll out to compatible Galaxy devices soon.
The February 2026 security patch addresses a total of 37 security vulnerabilities. Of these, 25 fixes are provided by Google for the Android operating system, while the remaining 12 were developed by Samsung. Most of the fixes apply to Galaxy smartphones and tablets running Android 14, Android 15, and Android 16, with one fix also targeting devices still on Android 13.
Samsung-specific fixes address vulnerabilities found in Emergency Sharing, Knox Guard Manager, Samsung Dialer, the Settings app, facial and fingerprint authentication systems, and the company’s PACM module.
Samsung is expected to begin rolling out the February 2026 security patch to eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets in the coming days.
